Whether you’re 25 or 75, you can use your experience and expertise to help students make a positive impact.

We offer a variety of ways for you to work with students, meet other mentors, and continue your own growth in the process.

Potential Partner

We work with some amazing partners, ranging from small local businesses to international companies and organizations.

We’d love to discuss potential opportunities for your organization to help students innovate toward a better world.

Welcome to optiMize.

optiMize is a community for people who are passionate about social change and want to take action.

Our Social Innovation Challenge provides support, resources and $100,000 for student teams to turn ideas into impact.
The community is led by a core team of students and supported by a dedicated group of mentors and partners.
We’re working with the University of Michigan to make real-world impact an integral part of the college experience.

Anyone is welcome, and no experience is necessary. We hope you’ll join us.
